1. Cloud Security Intern @ Tanium
Location: US-Remote Dates: full-time from June 12, 2023 – August 18, 2023
What you’ll do:
- Experience first-hand cloud security in a software security company

Requirements:
- Junior graduating year Spring 2024 or Fall 2023, currently enrolled at an undergraduate institution in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related degree program.
- GPA of 3.5 or above REQUIRED.
- Experience with programming languages like Golang or Python
- Clear passion for working with cloud or security applications
Nice to haves:
- Prior related internship experience, nice to have

2. Security Research Internship @ CertiK
Location: US-Remote
What you’ll do:
- Develop analysis tools to facilitate security discovery and design mitigation techniques to deter security threats.
- Review system implementation of sandbox, VM, network modules, and critical distributed system.
- Perform vulnerability discovery and develop PoC exploits to large distributed system implementations.
- Publish research findings in related academic and industry venues.
Requirements:
- Pursuing Masters or PhD in Computer Science or Cybersecurity related field.
- Experiences in vulnerability discovery and exploitation on web applications or system software.
Nice to haves:
- Experiences in WASM or Rust/Go development is a plus.
- CTF experiences are a plus as well.

3. Threat Intelligence Intern @ Recorded Future
Location: Boston, MA or Washington, DC preferred (Location flexible in US) Dates: Expires 05/31/2023
What you’ll do:
- Research sets of standardized queries related to cyber threats for clients on a regular basis (daily, weekly)
- Produce finished intelligence reports that address clients’ priority intelligence requirements across a broad range of cyber threat activity topics
- Prepare and review analyst notes (+/- 3 paragraphs) about validated intelligence events
- Prepare reporting templates for future use
- Work on projects with often tight deadlines
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled analysts with expertise across many areas of cybersecurity and threat intelligence
Requirements:
- You must be a current U.S. Service member
- 2+ years working in cyber operations or military intelligence gathering and analysis
- Demonstrably strong writing ability
- Demonstrable experience researching and analyzing cyber threats across either a) multiple industries or b) multiple timeframes (e.g., both weekly and quarterly)
- Demonstrated success working on projects as part of a cross functional team
- Technical skills: cyber security or threat intelligence experience
- Ability to convey complex technical and non-technical concepts in both written and verbal products
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with and use of common cyber threat intelligence tools such as DomainTools, VirusTotal, SHODAN, etc.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Javascript, C, etc.

4. Penetration Test Intern @ Bishop Fox
Location: Boston, MA or Washington, DC preferred (Location flexible in US) Dates: 6 months starting in October 2022 for 40 hours per week
What you’ll do:
As a pen testing intern, you’ll have the chance to train individually with some of the industry’s VIPs. You’ll gain priceless firsthand experience with consulting and participate in cutting-edge research and thought leadership projects. No two days are the same here, but what we can guarantee is that every day at Bishop Fox, you’ll be learning. Plus, you’ll work in a casual environment filled with plenty of laidback and friendly folks. If you haven’t realized it yet, this is no ordinary internship.

- Previous system administrator and/or programming experience
